Commercial and Residential Pools and Spas:

How to know if your pool is leaking:
Normal evaporation for pools per day in our climate is about ¼ inch for the average pool. If you have noticed a loss greater than this per day it may be due to a leak. Automatic fill devices may “mask” pool system leaks, so it is good to notice if any of the following is also occurring: higher than normal water bills; additional chemical use needed to treat the additional water being added to the pool; any cracks forming in the pool deck (due to settling) and even unexplained evidence of water outside the pool or in the yard. Use our Pool Leak Tests to check your pool: “Bucket Test” & “Pool Water Loss Test”. Also keep in mind that due to Florida’s climate evaporation rates may change from season to season and can vary greatly with specialized pools.

Pool Inspection Checklist:
PLEASE DO NOT DRAIN YOUR POOL – To ensure the underwater detection covers all areas of your pool, please be sure the pool is filled to mid-skimmer or middle of the tile line, and that the pool is clean and clear so that the technician can dive the pool. In most cases it is not necessary for you to be home for us to complete our pool leak detection services.

Structural and Building/House Plumbing Leaks:

Got Leaks? We Got Your Solution!
Having a leak at your property can be an unpleasant and stressful situation that you need to have handled promptly and professionally; Florida Leak Solutions, Inc., specializes in providing professional and courteous customer service and uses the industry’s latest and most advanced leak detection equipment and testing systems to locate and pinpoint your leak.
Don’t let a small leak become a costly repair!
Leaking water, even from a small leak, if left to progress can not only become a costly repair due to water damages and high water bills, but can also make you and your family or employees sick. Our climate in Florida fosters mold growth in areas prolonged to moisture, making even a small leak, a possible breeding ground for mold which causes various allergic symptoms for most people.

How to know if you have a leak:
Keep in mind that the exact location of a leak may not always be immediately known; some leaks may start in one location and flow along a ledge or other channel before draining down to cause any visible damage. Look for damp or wet, discolored stains or warped areas on your walls, ceilings, floors and woodwork (kitchen and bathroom cabinetry) and the following common leak indicators:
- Wet carpet
- Sounds of constant water running
- Water coming up in between grout lines
- Hot spots on the floor
- Abnormal foundation settling
- Signs of mold or mildew
- Sink Holes in the yard
The best way to determine if there is a leak in the plumbing system is to check your water meter by doing a Meter Test. Call us today with any questions or to schedule an appointment that is convenient to your schedule.
